• Great Location for all things Colorado Springs

  This is the perfect house to go do everything Colorado Springs has to offer. 10 min to Garden of the Gods. 3 minutes to I-25 to catch a Rockies game or go south to Manitou Springs. Beds are comfortable. The kids loved the ping pong table in the basement. Would definitely stay here again.

• Clean and comfortable

  We were all extremely happy with the property. Great house, plenty of room the 4 adults and 5 kids age 10-17. They loved the ping pong table and games downstairs. Everything was clean and easy to find. The views of the mountains from the back patio, kitchen windows, and bedrooms were gorgeous. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. We would definitely recommend and would like to stay again.

• Pros and Cons

  Definitely pros and cons with this house:Pros: great location for us. It's right near I-25 and right near Nevada, so getting into town on the weekend was a breeze. The house looks as pictured. It was actually perfect for two families since there were two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. We each had our own bathrooms and plenty of room. Cons: The house had been cleaned before we came in (evidence of vacuuming and beds were freshly made); however, it wasn't cleaned well. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, mud footprints on the couch, animal hair on both couches, greasy food fingerprints on the oven handle, etc. There are very few dishes. We made it work, but the kitchen items are sparse. The heating unit is extremely loud. Earplugs will solve the problem, but don't forget to pack them. The downstairs sink has a huge crack in it, and the downstairs tub looks to be permanently stained (it looks gross and unclean before you get in). Another really scary thing happened. At 3:45 am, we were sleeping in the downstairs bedroom and someone came and repeatedly knocked on the window. When we woke up and looked out, we saw a figure moving away from the window. It definitely freaked us out.

• Family vacation

  Very nice house. As is listed. Linens, beds were good. Kitchen set up is good. Could use more stocking. Dishwasher door needs lubricated bit works well. Garage door opener didnt work. Overall very pleased. Location is close to everything. Ice dispenser in fridge didnt work. I would rent here again.
