This was a wonderful location for 4 couples traveling to attend a wedding. The common areas were ideal for hanging out. The kitchen is very well equipped - tea kettle, coffee pot, subzero fridge, large dining table and plenty of counter space.
Special nod to the fact it’s the oldest adobe in Colorado Springs and was designed by a renowned Santa Fe architect. That tree growing through it is pretty cool.
I know everyone likes to know how they can improve so I’ll include the observation that sleeping areas don’t hold the same opulence as the common areas. Beds were comfortable but some rooms lacked nightstands or a chair to sit on for putting on shoes, etc., especially helpful when the bed is too high to sit on. Some kind of window covering in the queen bed room would be great as that Colorado sun is pretty bright streaming in at 5:45. A few minor repair items like loose toilet seats and a cottage door that only remaining closed if locked.
This place is a gem and I highly recommend staying here. Location couldn’t be better and you’ll feel a world away when surrounded by the amazing architecture.
If you're attending a conference at the Broadmoor, I really recommend this property: walking distance and very spacious and cute/unique inside.

We appreciate unique architecture and this house was full of charming detail. Our family group of six felt very comfortable, with ample outdoor living space and spacious living area. The mule deer bucks appeared in the morning, along with hummingbirds and magpies. The beds were very comfortable and small details, like the water pressure, impressed us. We’d recommend this stay for anyone visiting Colorado Springs.

The house is beautiful and in a great location. The only draw back is the front door being difficult to lock and no wash clothes throughout the house. The front door would lock from the outside sometimes, and other times it wouldn't.

This unique property has an expanse of space that can accommodate a variety of groups, families, co-workers or friends. The overall feel of the home is southwestern with a cabin-style influence. There is plenty of parking, space to spread out and entertain. Pros: responsive management, proximity to Broadmoor and other COS attractions, basic amenities, unique settingCons: neglected landscaping, home repairs (addressed by management co), difficult to traverse for older/non-sure-footed people (stone paths, narrow doors, hilly driveway)
