  Great property, second time I have rented this property. Close to shuttle and lot’s of living space. Nice amenities.

• Great House, Terrible Service

  We rented this house for a family vacation over new years. The house is in a great location to catch the shuttle to the slopes and is laid out nicely. Plenty of space for our family of 7 and well appointed with nice amenities.

  However, we arrived to a broken glass shower door with glass still all over the floor. It took 24 hours to get someone to come clean it up. We had a one year old with us so it was a high priority to clean up all the glass shards. The front door handle also broke off making that door unusable and the lower oven did not work. All of these things were not ideal but manageable — and I wouldn’t leave a negative review if that is all that went wrong because likely just a stroke of bad luck.

  However, the third night we were in the house, we heard a loud bang and several doors slammed (almost like the pressure in the house suddenly changed). It woke everyone up in different rooms of the house. In trying to investigate what could’ve caused it, we inspected the furnace which had also been making odd noises and was aged. This led us to try and locate carbon monoxide detectors in the house for peace of mind given the noise and age of the furnace. There weren’t any. We called the local property manager who contacted the owners and everyone agreed that there weren’t any carbon monoxide detectors in the house (something a rental property is legally obligated to have). This was at 10:30pm and the owners said they would cover the cost if we purchased them so I drove from Breckenridge to Frisco to walmart in a snowstorm to try and buy some but they were sold out.

  I contacted the local property manager and asked them to get carbon monoxide detectors installed the following day which she agreed to doing. Then when it wasn’t done we contacted her again and she said she was told by the owners (as informed by evolve) to “disengage” with us.

  So, instead of providing something legally obligated to provide after we had already had a rocky experience, the owners chose to ignore and “disengage”. They offered to refund our money for the remaining stay if we felt unsafe but it was new years in breckenridge, there was no where else to go!! We spent a lot of money to rent this house only to be treated terribly on requests that were in no way unreasonable (and in fact legally obligated). I would absolutely avoid renting this house as the owners/property management don’t care to hold up their end of the rental agreement when it matters

  The property was perfect for myself and my family - all my seven siblings managed to spend a little time in Breckenridge. Perfect accommodations for us!

  This property in Breckenridge was absolutely perfect for our group. The house was exactly as the pictures show. There was plenty of room for all of us as well as enough different locations to hang out together or on your own. We watched movies, played pool, went in the hot tub and more. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would possibly need for creating your own meals (minus the food of course). The dinner table was one of our favourite places. We all fit around it for great meals as well as played some games. Each bathroom was full of amenities in case you forgot anything, from shampoo to shaving cream. The sound system throughout the house and outside was a bonus. The location was also perfect. Quiet street and the amount of stars you could see at night were crazy. It was a short walk to the end of the street where you can take the brown route free shuttle. The shuttle system is outstanding, especially because we didn't have a vehicle. A couple of us walked into town one night (and back) and it only took 20 minutes to reach main street and that was at a very leisurely pace and a very nice walk. The owner and property management was very responsive, I had a few questions before we arrived and while there and I had all my answers within minutes at times. I'm sure I could say much more but bottom line is we loved the house, loved to town and had a great vacation!
