  We were a multi-generational group of 9. There were ample sleeping options to accommodate all of us comfortably. The kitchen was well-stocked with lots of utensils, pots & pans, dishes, and small appliances. The complementary snacks and wine were a nice touch. Linens and towels, including beach towels for the hot tub were ample.

  A couple things to note…the screen on one of the sliders was completely ripped away from the frame. Luckily, it was not buggy, as that side of the house faces west and gets warm in the afternoon. The toilet in the powder bath stopped working after our 2nd day. We called the number provided for maintenance and were told that individual was no longer associated with the property. I’m not sure who we were supposed to contact. If there had not been other bathroom options, I’m not sure what we would have done to solve this problem. As it was, we just closed off that bathroom. And finally…the furniture… The outside furniture could use some attention. One of the chairs was broken and there could be a few more chairs added. The sofas in the great room were awful. They were extremely worn, but more importantly, most uncomfortable. There really wasn’t anywhere to comfortably sit on the main floor. Having said that, we liked the house overall. The location was fine, & the house was in good shape. We especially enjoyed having the hot tub.

• Family Fun

  We had a mixed group of family members and all had fun. Some stayed up all night waiting to see the bear! There wasn't a table and chairs on the balcony and we all agreed that this would have made it so much better.

• Stay Away!!!

  This property is, very tired and virtually falling apart. The deck rails were held together with bungee chords, the screens were ripped, the toilet didn't function, showers basins were rusted, the carpets were stained and dirty, the walls banged up, the outdoor grill filthy. We called the owner's contact who sent someone to lag screw the deck together but did nothing else. Don't trust the rental photos ...

  Hi Dennis, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to clarify the following:
  - The owner works hard to keep the property well-maintained, and they have plans to make more updates during the off-season.
  - The bungee cords on the deck are used to help keep the grill in place due to the strong winds.
  - The screen door has a small rip due to guest use, and the owner has plans to address this.
  - The toilet needed a quick fix, and it was resolved during your stay. It is fully functioning, and this shouldn't be a concern for future guests.
  - The owner checked, and they couldn't find any evidence of rust on the shower basin.
  - While there are some stains from guest use, the carpet is cleaned and vacuumed before each guest's arrival. The wall in the entryway has a couple of scuffs from guests' ski and snowboard equipment. During the off-season, the owner is updating the floors to a hard surface and repainting the walls.
  - As soon as you informed the owner of your concerns, they sent over the cleaners and property manager to address any issues. The cleaners had the grilled cleaned in a timely manner.
  The owners always try to accommodate their guests and provide the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!

  This was a good house for our family vacation. There was plenty of room for the eight of us. The kitchen was well-stocked and we loved the hot rub.
