• Almost perfect oasis

  Charming home with a perfect retro vibe. Great backyard space for lounging and entertaining little ones. The cleanliness, however, was an issue that impacted our trip. Upon arriving to the property you could see you litter lining the street due to the over filled trash cans. The backyard had a pile of empty beer cans, and the pool was unclean and unusable. Many of the house plans for also dad or depressed, which also slightly dimmed the vibe. And communication with property management was subpar. Lastly, the oven didn't work, leaving us to change the menu for our trip.

• Worst rental I have stayed in

  I have stayed in many rentals and this one was about the worst. Bags of trash all over in garage rec room where the stench was so bad you couldn’t even use the room. I rented this property specifically for the use of this room for teenage kids for them to hang in and it was full of about 10 bags of trash that had been there collecting for months.

  Kitchen sink is leaking out to patio area and has mold growing in it which effected our son’s asthma. Oven isn’t working tried to fix biscuits for breakfast and could not cook.

  Beds were not made properly. No fitted sheets on the bed slept on mattress cover and didn’t know it until I went to strip the beds as instructed by house rules.

  Beer cans laying all over outside by end of fenced in area along with other trash.

  When I contacted host concerning trash in game room they said someone would be right out and never showed up. Called 4 more times and they wouldn’t answer the phone. Called next day they still wouldn’t answer phone.

  I would not recommend this rental at all. One of the worst I have ever rented!!!!!

• Great house close to Marine Base

  The location was perfect for our visit with our Marine. Nice, quiet street not far from base. The house is close to groceries, restaurants, and Joshua Tree National Park. It’s an older home that’s been redone and has lots of California charm. The game room and backyard were great to visit with our son and his friends.
