  This home is in a great location for visiting Joshua Tree and in a fairly quiet neighborhood. The coffee maker and provided kcups was an added bonus, especially since we had some early mornings during our stay. There was a arcade video game machine in the breakfast nook. While we did not use this machine, I’m sure it would be a hit with children and younger teenagers. Unfortunately, there were some issues with our stay that prevented us from giving anything above a 3 star review. The shower curtain was an extremely cheap, flimsy plastic with no weight which meant you were fighting with the shower curtain wrapping around you the entire time you were showering. The beds seemed to be of decent quality but were a little on the hard side for us. Most concerning was that the curtains in both bedroom were simply sheer drapes which provided no room darkening and zero privacy. This would not have been such an issue if we were on a provide secluded lot, however it was unacceptable with a property in a residential neighborhood, especially in the master bedroom which faces the front of the house! I did send a private message to the property manager in reference to the drapes and hope that this issue will be corrected for future renters.

  - We have never had this complaint before, but take our guest feedback seriously and will further look into your concerns about the shower curtain and replace it if needed.
  - While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, mattress taste is subjective, and have never received any complaints about this in the past, but we're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences.
  - We use professional photographers so we can be sure that our images accurately reflect our property and guests can decide before booking if the home and decor meet their expectations. Our listing photos also reflect our sheer window coverings, but we're sorry if you missed this while making your reservation.
