Gorgeous Property!
5/5 We just returned from a 4-night stay in this beautiful home. It is spacious, clean and oh so comfortable! The pictures accurately depict the cabin but of course it is much better in person. No detail has been left undone. The kitchen, bathrooms & laundry are all well equipped. I often bring our favorite oils/spices but learned there was no need here. There is an entire drawer of spices and a variety of oils are offered as well.
The heated entry and bathroom floors were a welcomed touch.
The huge leather couch with reclining ends was wonderful for watching TV and relaxing in front of the warm fireplace (it's gas and run by remote).
The expansive deck out back overlooks the fairway and it is so peaceful to sit outside with your morning coffee. Granted we were there when very few other cabins were occupied and the golf course was closed for the season -- so it was definitely a quiet place for us. The path along the golf course made for beautiful walks. Scenery is stunning. The location is also ideal as it's within 5 minutes of a market/shops & downtown Truckee.
My husband and I take these mini-trips often and this is by far the nicest place we've stayed. Thank you, Donna, for providing such a beautiful rental! We will definitely be back!
The cabin is wonderful!
5/5 We stayed in this cabin for 4 nights, over Labor Day weekend. The cabin is amazing! It is big enough for a family with kids. It is very spacious, clean and newly upgrated. All necessary items are included for the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry. I especially liked heated floor in the bathroom. The location is great too! It is close enought to all stores, Donner lake and community pool/gym, though you don't hear the freeway. It is very quite place with the deck/patio heading toward the golf course with some friendly chipmunk, coming to check if you have any nuts. If you like staying in a cabin most of the time, you won't regret renting it. However, there are a lot of activities around as well. I would definitely recommend renting it for the cute, beautiful cabin itself with wonderful and modern design and convenient location.
