  We had a great time despite being snowed in. The only issue was with getting access code or any correspondence with property management. There was a delay in getting response and had to call and email to get a code to the house, instead of getting an email with instructions ahead of arrival.

  Stayed during a four day period which it snowed several feet. Plows kept streets and driveway clear. Is a good rental for small family or couples.

• Winter Ski Trip

  Cute free standing winter cabin. Lots of snow for the kids to play in! 20-60 minute drive to most resorts. 4 wheel drive or chains required if there is bad weather to get to cabin in the snow. Cozy home : )

• Little cabin in Truckee Donner

  The cabin was clean but the maids forgot all the towels in the dryer. There was ZERO bars of soap. We were there for 10 days so counting on eating breakfasts and some dinners hanging out. There’s really no bowls for fruit or our orzo salad, no colander for pasta, no rubber spatula - so other than good knives, the kitchen was a disappointment.

  The very small deck on the side of the house faces 3 houses close by and this is where the most filthy grill is located. I took off the cover and some filthy type tongs were lying there so we grilled our salmon in foil tent and didn’t cook anything more on the grill 🤬

  The key for the garage wasn’t marked so we had our eBikes in the living room for 3 days until I called for the 2nd time.

  Heather, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following: "Apologies for the cleaning not being 100% ready upon your arrival.
  -Due to covid, we do not provide bars of soap, only hand soap!
  - We keep the kitchen stocked with basic supplies, but we can understand the frustration of the lack of specific utensils.
  -The key for the garage is marked in a basket on the counter! Thank you."

• Cozy, Quiet, and CLEAN!

  This cabin was absolutely impeccable. We arrived between 8pm and 9pm, after dinner, on the way up to Truckee. I had worked all week and all day, and was just ready to relax. I hoped that it would be as clean and comfortable as all of the reviews stated and the photos showed. It was PERFECT. You have everything you need there. It snowed the whole day on Sunday and was freezing outside, and we SO comfortable.

  My only issue, which was easily resolved calling the help line, was that I was not aware that sometimes people shut off the water in these cabins. I did have a brief moment of panic when there was no water, but I was able to get some assistance calling the number, and was directed as to how to turn it on. I think it would just be great if that were included in the welcome package, or posted somwhere (and forgive me if I missed it - it's very possible as I was tired and it was late).

  Overall, this was one of the NICEST cabins we've stayed at, and we will be back. We absolutely loved it, and appreciate being able to stay here with our little dog. Best mother's day trip ever. <3
