Start exploring Lake Tahoe right away! The community features a beach path, 2 piers, and even buoy rentals. Also within the community, you’ll find tennis courts, basketball, horseshoes, and bocce ball for some recreational entertainment.
If there are any avid skiers or snowboarders in the group, you’re in luck! Squaw Valley Resort, Northstar California Resort, Alpine Meadows Resort, and Homewood Mountain Resort are all within just 20 minutes, making this destination a true winter wonderland!
Summer brings plenty of lake activities, golfing, concerts, and water sports, but you’ll also find picturesque hiking trails surrounding the lake! Throw on your hiking boots and begin trekking right from your front door.
When you're ready for a day spent off the lake, head into town and enjoy some local living. An 8-minute drive will take you to Tahoe City, where golf courses, fine dining, and activities abound. If you're feeling lucky, head north instead to visit the Incline Village area, home to the Crystal Bay Casino and Grand Lodge Casino!

Great views and comfy place
4/5 We loved the location on the northwest part of Lake Tahoe. Very close to modern conveniences but quiet and private at the same time. We loved the view, but were bummed to be stuck inside by the late May snowstorm. Gray days and little visibility put a damper on our trip. Temps were too low to be outside on the deck but too late in the season for skiing (and we had none of our ski stuff with us anyway, because we expected more spring hiking than skiing). We had some funky television issues (closed captioning that wouldn't shut off, remotes that don't work well) and there is not much channel variety if you do find yourself stuck inside for three days. There are plenty of games to bide your time and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, etc. It's clear that this is someone's vacation home, which we loved. Made it much more homey and functional. We will return to Tahoe, but we don't recommend going until mid-June if you want warm temps and pretty, clear views.

3/5 Great location. We loved being in a contained community right on the water. Downside was limited kitchen essentials. Many things were expired and not thrown out. Food staples from 2019. Air conditioning did not cool down upper floors so we had to purchase fans during our stay because it was just uncomfortable. This unit is all about the location and the view. If you are big into interior being luxurious you will be disappointed.

- While the listing does advertise a fully equipped kitchen, this is in reference to the appliances and equipment, not food or essentials.
- We do leave a small number of dry goods and spices for guests to use, however; we regularly remove expired items.
- Air conditioning is not an advertised amenity for our unit, as it is typically not needed in the cool lake climate. We do apologize if you felt uncomfortable during your stay.
We hope these issues did not distract you from the beautiful views our home has to offer!
