Location is great. Parking is very small with wall and equipment obstruction on the right side. Clean but needs minor maintenance. Guest book is very old and most information is inaccurate. Host not very responsive and when he said he would bring us more TP, they gave us 2 rolls for 12 nights, we never got it. Pictures on VRBO are not accurate and need to be replaced with updated pictures. We had a very nice time.

The Accommodation was spotlessly clean. It's not clear whether it is pet-friendly or not but it was very tidy and comfortable. The location is excellent - at the quieter end of the promenade, close to many shops, cafes, bus-stops, etc.One can watch the sunset directly from the living room or step outside and feel the ocean breeze. The unit is fully equipped with most items necessary for a self-catering vacation. Cable TV and internet worked reliably. The guest-host was not available but the toll-free help-team at Evolve Vacations provided excellent support. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is one of the very best. There were a few issues to deal with upon arrival and a few things to note. The guest-book with information including wifi instructions was missing and the guest-host was permanently unavailable. A toll-free call to the excellent Evolve support-team swiftly resolved the wifi issue. It was not clear whether or not this was a pet-free rental, as booked, but the unit was spotlessly clean and tidy. There was also initial confusion about the underground parking. The garage entry has a 6ft vehicle height limit and the allotted space itself is partly restricted so a small rental car works best. The property is fairly well-equipped for self-catering. It is located at the quieter end of the promenade with a short staircase down to the beach. There are many cafes, bars, restaurants and shops nearby. One can watch the sunset from the living room or step outside and feel the ocean breeze. Altogether, this was a really good place to enjoy a comfortable vacation.
Windows & screens were filthy, Ants in the kitchen and bathroom, no cleaning supplies other than a broom & dust pan, dish & hand soap, The water function on the refrigerator quit working, the sheets were too short for the deep pocket mattress and kept slipping and bunching up. The place needs some Repair work and paint. The kitchen was not well stocked, it had plenty of pots and pans and eating dishes but there were no containers to put food in or leftovers. The location is perfect!

The location of this property simply can't be beat. You're just a few hundred yards from the ocean, perfect for morning walks on the beach or watching the sunset each night. After the sun dips below the horizon, it's quick walk to some great restaurants (we loved Oscars, La Perla, and Dirty Birds) or the amazing desserts at the Baked Bear.A few notes from our trip (these aren't complaints...just things I think others look for in a property):The area: Pacific Beach is definitely a younger vibe, with the mid-20 to early 30 crowd dominating. We had a 9 year old and were on a family vacation. Not an issue at all, but if you're looking to be around a ton of other families or retirees, this isn't the area of San Diego for you. We loved our time here and would definitely come back to this area and this property! The rental:The place was great. It's an older property, but our condo was clean and well maintained. The place has a ton of storage and a few amenities. There are some beach chairs and some sand toys for kids. There's plenty of cookware, plates and silverware, but very little in terms of condiments or extras for cooking. If you're going to do much cooking, just know you'll need to buy just about everything. There's a coffee pot but we had to buy coffee and filters. There's no hair dryer provided. There was also just a single washcloth and no bathmat. Lots of towels...one washcloth. We made due, but if you're someone who needs lots of washcloths, it's probably worth visiting with the property manager beforehand. The underground parking space is a HUGE bonus. Parking is really hard to find in the area. But when it says compact or intermediate size cards only...they ain't kidding. It's in a corner against a wall. We had a Nissan Altima and it was a really tight squeeze. When we stayed there, the living room had two more formal chairs and a couch with a hide-a-bed. Our daughter used the hide-a-bed. It's fine for a 9 year old, but this 40 year old woman wouldn't have wanted to sleep on it.The pool was open but the hot tub was closed. The residents were friendly, the complex itself was quiet and if you wanted noise and fun and people, you just had to walk a few dozen steps to the beach. In summary - We loved our stay. We'd stay there again and again.P.S. If you love ice cream and cookies, don't miss the Baked Bear. Seriously.
