Drive just over 4 miles to spend the afternoon in Old Sacramento. This 8-block historic district dates back to 1849 and consists of numerous museums, guided tours, and some fun bars to grab a cocktail.
There are numerous museums throughout the city if you're looking to experience the history of California's state capital. Local favorites are the California State Railroad Museum, Crocker Art Museum, California State Military Museum, and the Old Sacramento Schoolhouse Museum.
Some other fun ways to spend your time in the city include visiting the casinos around the town, walking through the International World Peace Rose Gardens, or having a picnic at one of the beautiful city parks!

Cute and cozy
5/5 Cute property that has potential with a few updates. Pool needs resurfaced and some basic grounds up keep could make this place next level. We stayed for the golden sky festival and the Mile and a half walk to park was still quicker than waiting for an Uber. Overall great stay!

Loved layout and location but grounds not as in pictures!
2/5 I love the property. Very quiet and private. However listing states gate code and there isn't. I could not lift gate to close. Very heavy! Stated ice machine. There's NOT. home was layed out nicely and surface clean. Litter in driveway and front lawn and in yard and walk way to house. Was it a lot, no but not what you expect. In fact when landscapers came to weedeat, they did not pick up nor did they go to back yard and patio area to pull the large/tall weeds or clean up leaves or litter. Lots of cob webs around entrances and patio cove lots of dirt. Could have been blown off for better appearance.Previous guests left all pool floats thrown in the area by the palm trees. Litter and bottle cap stuff was all around the pool area. On the inside, many of the blinds did not work properly dusty and dead insects on window sills. blinds on slidding doors had many slots missing so don't bother closing them. Slider door to patio had a great deal of dirt and dead bugs. The patio screen door was ripped in a couple of places, so not useable.Butcher block counters, which is great but around the sink was a lot of build up from gunky stuff. But what got me was a condom wrapper under the bed. Don't know how long it had been there. The positive is location and neighborhood which is very quiet all the time. Very few barking dogs, etc. You are so close to downtown, and old town which is fun. Great Saturday Market, something for all ages. I have pics of all the things I shared. I want to go back but accountability for those responsible for inside and outside needs to happen.

A great week of rest in a quiet area
5/5 My family and I really enjoyed this house which has been nicely remodeled. The outdoor space is very pleasant for resting and the pool is really clean even if it's a little bit old. My kids were a little disappointed not to have the slide as in the photos, but is wasn't a big deal. I totally recommend this house for families and friends!
