  The interior photos don't reflect the actual furniture. There is no driveway, only a U-shaped sloped dirt, rock and gravel path which is difficut to get your belongings down and up. The indoor lighting is poor and the actual furniture uncomfortable. Electrical outlets are minimal and poorly placed as some are directly over the floor heaters. Garbage is not publicly collected, the garbage can is small and not animal proofed. There was no wood on the deck nor DVD as advertised. There was no heat in the bathroom nor grab bar in the shower. The only positive thing about our stay was that pets were allowed and the contact people helpful.

  Beautiful setting amongst the trees! Also, decor was awesome totally retro! Very enjoyable and relaxing.

  Cozy cabin - enjoyed your stay! There is a new fridge that works great (previous reviews mentioned fridge troubles so as of summer 2021 that's no longer a concern). There is a shower which is not shown in pictures. Cabin was very dusty - in particular, we had to clean the bookshelf at the head of the bed before sleeping and all surfaces needed a once-over. The space is great & the surrounding area is beautiful!

• A Cozy Cabin to escape the City

  The Cabin is in a great location with perfect shading and sunlight coming in at the end of October. There were no mosquitoes during this time (a plus). The cabin had several logs and wood placed at the patio deck and near the fire pit to be used conveniently for the cabin wood heater. The kids love the burning wood experience. Very thoughtful of the owners. The place was neat and organized, and fairly clean. There was a running kitchen sink, toilet, shower, refrigerator, coffee machine, and electric stove. So convenient and simple. There was a working portable heater in the master bedroom too, we hibernated well. We did not use the resources in the pantry but it was a generous thought/offering from the owners. The location was near the lake for fishing and a little swim or for hiking. Love the outdoors. Three things that were minor details but definitely can improve the experience: 1. wipe off some spider webs on top of the kid's sleeping area (I had to wipe it) 2. The loud exhaust shower fan scared my 3 kids (age 2-8) 3. The tile between the kitchen and the carpet needs to be level to avoid tripping. Oh and don't forget the journal entry book. Love the idea.
