Very bad neighborhood
2/5 It was a clean house that was newly remodeled. They should add some light in the backyard because it’s too dark. The area is always windy which we were not aware of, and because of this you can’t stay outside. The main reason for the 2 stars is because neighbors there are gang style people. They were trying to do something to my car. Overall I didn’t feel safe knowing the area is known to have a high violence rate. We had 3 days reservation but we stayed there for only 3 hours. It’s not a good area for vacation.

Hi Robert, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
I apologize deeply for the experience you had. While this is not an amazing experience, the check-in time was at 4 PM, our host greets our guests to go over the property at that time. If a guest decides to check in after 8 PM, our host will not be there until the following morning as stated by the host in their text messages.
This is a residential neighborhood and if guests do come in late,
neighbors may feel uncomfortable as well. We do include a map on our listing so that guests can see the approximate location of the home prior to booking, but we apologize that this caught you off guard.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.We spent a delightful weekend in Palm Springs. The home we stayed in so welcoming. It exceeded our expectations. The home was clean, well stocked , and even had goodies for us. We enjoyed the pool and all aspects of our stay.
5/5 Thank you to our host Richard. He met us at the home, showed us around and shared helpful tips to ensure we would have a positive experience. We enjoyed his delightful personality as it set the tone for a wonderful weekend. I highly recommend this home, our host and this website!
