    There are a few things that I think would be helpful to know. When getting close to the rental, we were all sure that we were scammed. The neighborhood is shady. The house number is on the gate but we knocked on 2 different houses only to find that it was the wrong house. The rental is actually tucked back. The code never worked. The contact person said the key was under the mat, but it would have been helpful to know this ahead of time.

    There is a grill outside of the rental. It appeared to be used by people living in the area, I don't think they were renters.

    The photos of the inside are true. The inside is charming. Very updated and clean. Nice having 2 a/c units for the master bedroom and great room. Our kids slept with their doors open to be sure to get some air during the night. Also, the shower head in the master shower was a big hit! The mattresses were comfortable.

    We called to get a broom as we accumulated lots of sand on the first day. Someone did bring one and placed it in the storage room.

    There were ants in the master bedroom. I did call about it and explained that we would be gone all day hoping they would treat them. (I couldn't find any ant repellent in the storage). I don't think anyone ever came because eventually the ants were all over the toilet seat as well as the walls and floor.

    I felt safe as I had my husband and grown sons but I would not have felt good about it if I had taken a trip without them. The parking in the back alley is limited and I felt sorry for the people living whose parking spots were taken by renters. You do drive by homeless people when coming and going through the alley.

    I wouldn't stay here again but it turned out to be okay. I did appreciate that the contact person answered her phone and was very sweet and tried to be helpful.

    So, if you're traveling with company that makes you feel safe and take ant repellent, it should be okay.
