My husband and I rented this house for Valentine’s weekend..the booking process was ok, Nicky was my contact person, she was very friendly and accommodating. However we didn’t find the house very clean, specially the downstairs bathroom, there were spider webs on the small towels and the bath towels didn’t look too clean. The outside of the house was really dark when we arrived and it was also slippery because of the snow, it was little scary because the house is more uphill, we had to turn our phones flashlights to be able to open the house door. More lighting would help outside and check on the cleaning crew. Otherwise the house is really nice and truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The property was great. Amenities were good. East check in. Quiet neighborhood. Back deck was full of leaves when we checked in. We had to brush them off. The towels smelled like they were damp/musty. Maybe they had been sitting for a while. We grabbed new towels from the closet.

First time taking family up the mountain and it did not disappoint! Family of 6 really enjoyed the overall stay. Lots of fun with video games, tv consoles, and fireplace gave hours of cozy fun. Beds were very comfy and place was extremely clean. It's just the right size for family of 6 - we had little children so would recommend parents bringing any house proofing items as counters have sharp points. The loft area had time well spent with playing the SNES console and tv, lots of space and comfortability with pull out sofa. Spent many nights cooking and enjoying time together around the dining table. Thank you for a wonderful time! It was one of our best vacations to date. Recommendations:- Visitors should bring own laundry detergent in case they are skin sensitive. - Ensure to being snow chains, we didn't need ours, but the mountain has quick turns if going up during the winter. - Parents of little kids, bring house proofing items for littles- Might be smart to bring trash bags, paper towels. House was out by the time we arrived. - Bring any seasonings or cooking oil if you plan to cook, there's a good amount of pantry items, but I went to the market a lot.- Check laundry area for bedding and mats, didn't realize bath mats and other towels were there until almost departure and didn't know if they were clean, had to wash in case.- Bring unsalted peanuts for cute wildlife! We had a blast watching the birds and squirrels every morning. - Have fun!

Cabin has potential, but lacks a few things. The deck furniture was dirty and the cabin over-all was very dusty. Coffee maker had to be thoroughly cleaned and the microwave could use an upgrade. Old trash remained on side of house after Raccoon activity (guess). Minor changes would make this cabin an enjoyable option.

The cabin itself is very nice. You can tell the owners put a lot of love into it. There were games for the kids, coffee, cute decor. Unfortunately we had some issues with the property management. Apparently they cancelled our reservation the day before because of water issues. The management company did not get a hold of me and I never knew it was cancelled. I received an email at 1030pm the night of our reservation...so we were already there. When I talked to them thy said they sent me an email and voicemail the day before but I never received anything. You would think with such a short notice they would make sure to get a hold of me.We had issues accessing the cabin. There is a lockbox and electronic code. It was not specified which code they sent me went to which. I could get the electronic lock to come on so I had tocall the management company. It was basically an answering service and had to wait for them to call me back. Once they did I was informed I had no reservation. However they did help us get in because I guess the water issue had been resolved. They cabin is cute and well stocked. Some cleaning issues were overlooked. I found cigarette butts in the outdoor fire table and promptly told the management company because I didn't want them to think they belong to us. There were dirty pans left in the oven and the previous tenants did not secure the trash properly so there was trash in the driveway and along the side of the house. However maybe because they thought we were not coming they would have more time to clean. I also could not get the fire table to work. We may just have been unlucky this time around. I wouldn't discourage anyone from renting this place but would encourage the owners to find better management.
