  We enjoyed our stay here very much! Beautiful back yard, so much room inside and out. Communication with Roberta, owner, was fabulous. Fridge was stocked with some staples like butter and sauces. There were lots of kitchen appliances. Gas station at the end of the block and cute little smoke shop across the street. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

  This house is spacious both inside and out. It’s kitchen is well stocked with equipment you’ll need. Everything was clean and ready for use. The beds are super comfortable. The backyard has a really nice patio where the grownups relaxed while the kids raced around on their scooters. Great parks both east and west of the house within walking distance for a 4 and 6 year old. Don’t miss the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert. Well worth the admission to get up close to feed a giraffe! Loved “Old Town” La Quinta, an easy walk, for its restaurants and Sunday Farmers Market.

• Perfect location and charming home

  We picked this house so we could walk to old town and it was just perfect! A short 5 minute walk to boutiques and restaurants. House is decorated in an indigenous style and the backyard was beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked and owners were easy to communicate with.

  The property has poor curb appeal, but don't let that fool you: it was an extremely clean and comfortable place to stay. Two of the four bedrooms are master suites with attached baths (and one has an extra 'office' area that also has a queen futon); one room has a queen, and one has two twin beds (we didn't use this latter room). The floor plan is a little funny (one has to walk past three of the bedrooms to get into the living room and then through the living room to the kitchen and then through the kitchen to the other master suite), but very usable. We found the beds, couches and chairs very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked (cookware, utensils, a full supply of K-cups and a Keurig coffee maker, oil, condiments, etc. all available). Also supplied were soap, shampoo/conditioner, Kleenex, etc. For us, the highlight was the backyard, which had a lot of space including several mature fruit trees (fresh grapefruit right off the tree for breakfast every morning!), a working propane grill and multiple tables with outdoor seating. The latter was perfect for us, as we had two other families on vacation in the Coachella valley with us, and we were able to have them over in the yard for socially distant dinners and drinks (they couldn't do the same for us as they were staying in hotels). We would definitely stay in this property again.
