  Although we were happy with the well-supplied and spacious house, we were disappointed by several other aspects. Within the first few days we had to have several things repaired or replaced in the house: the dishwasher, the disposal, and addition of a shower caddy. The manager, Bettye, was prompt and agreeable about contacting repairmen who came out and did the required maintenance and were very pleasant.

  It would have been helpful to us and any others new to the area to have some basic information about the town (maps, general restaurant lists/menus and shopping basics, etc.) Maps are hard to find, perhaps because La Quinta is almost entirely gated communities, but even a street map would have been helpful for orientation. We did leave the info we picked up to help future renters. It would have also helped to have information where light switches were located as they were not always obvious. Lighting needs to be upgraded as the rooms tended to be dark. Dated fluorescent bulbs should be replaced with LEDs and more lighting placed in living room area

  We found the showers in need of modernization. The controls are archaic and difficult to manipulate. The tv/cable system worked poorly and ultimately, not at all.

  The guest bed room had a very comfortable bed which could not be said of the bed in the MBR. The 3rd BR indicated 2 twin beds, however those were 2 mattresses stacked on top of each other on a daybed in the small room.

  The neighborhood is pleasant to walk around and very near a park which offers walking and some. good hiking.

  Overall, it should have been better.

  Only one channel on TV, not much to watch in evening. No hot water. Very disappointed.

  Hi Mark, we're sorry to hear that your stay fell short of your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following:
  - The house has cable TV with a number of channels.
  - Once informed of hot water, the owner immediately called the emergency number and someone was out there to refill the propane tank within a couple of hours.
  - The hot water went out due to an oversight from the propane tank company. The owner has changed companies and the new company has a monitoring device attached so the propane tank and hot water will not be an issue for future guests.

• Perfect location for lacrosse tournament

  We stayed in this lovely home so we could be close to the polo fields for my child's lacrosse tournament. The location and the house were perfect! I would definitely stay here again.

• Beautiful home!

  I enjoyed my stay here at this beautiful property. It was more spacious than the photos let it off to be. Very clean as well! Definitely a recommend. Bettye was very helpful as well when I needed to ask a question.
