Lots of art and eclectic furnishings. Not as comfortable as we would have hoped. Pretty crowded overall but interesting. A few glass shards in the family room and black hairs in the shower area. Didn’t feel clean in the beginning. Geralyn was delightful when showing us the property when we arrived. First time I’ve ever had to remove linens and wash and return dishes before leaving and still charged cleaning fee.

Shared from the homeowner: "Greetings Matthew! My ultimate goal is for my guests to be very satisfied with their stay. I did not hear of any concerns from you during your trip or else I would have promptly responded to resolve any issues. My cleaning crew cleans the home thoroughly so any glass shards would have been removed and brought to my attention ahead of check-in. There certainly should not have been hairs in the shower but as a reassurance, I will instruct my cleaning crew to be more vigilant during future cleaning. Removing linens and returning dishes to the cabinet upon final departure is typical for the vacation rental industry. However, as stated in the Welcome Book, guests have the option to leave their used dishes in the dishwasher before leaving. Thanks for your review!
Geralyn is truly the most gracious host. Not only was the communication clear and thoughtful, she is always upbeat and positive and makes any tiny hiccup resolved quickly and with a positive attitude. The house is extremely quirky and artistic! It’s so fun to see all the different books and artifacts that have been assembled to make this a unique retreat. The absolute highlight and without a doubt reason to stay here is the amazing water in the swimming pool/jacuzzi. It is truly healing.Don’t miss an opportunity to walk just a half a block to the Cabot museum. They also have a fun little gift store. We brought a lot of groceries with us and enjoyed using the fully stocked kitchen that had every possible utensil and tool that one could ever need! The grocery store in town is not the greatest, so would suggest you plan on bringing those special things that you have to eat because you may not find them in this neck of the woods. It was extremely quiet and peaceful during the day and night, and the stars and the views go on forever.Cannot recommend this relaxing home enough!

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving week at this wonderful home. The kitchen is incredibly stocked with anything/everything you can ever need. We had a Thanksgiving feast. And then there is the lovely pool, hot tub and healing waters… sooo relaxing and enjoyable. We looked forward everyday after trips around the area to cooking a good meal and relaxing in the water. Our Host also deserves a 10. Great communication, wonderful introduction to the home. So excited to plan another trip back to the desert and this hidden gem.
Our hostess, Geralyn takes the utmost pride in her property and it is well deserved. She was a gracious and generous host who was available for any questions and accommodating when our check-in time varied from our original plans. Her description and pictures of the place are accurate and only begin to capture the magic of the area. We had a wonderful stay!
