Awesome place for families. Kids loved the downstairs area with board games. Close to amenities and very nice setup inside.

Quiet, and relaxing.

Check in was great, owner of the property was in great contact.Nice downstairs area for kids to play & hang out. Couches, chairs, and beds were not comfortable, too stiff for our family liking. Smart TV's were nice and easy to use. The kitchen was barely equipped, not easy to make a family meal. The owner accused my kids of taking a gaming system only to find out it was the family before us that mistakenly took it which really topped off the overall stay. Didn't care for the lack of blinds on the windows in the living room and front door, i get it we're there for the view but some privacy would've been nice too. We had to leave from our stay unexpectedly which was for the better since we weren't really enjoying the place.

Hi Katie, thanks for your review. The homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response:
-We are very disappointed your stay was only OK, as we always strive for our guests to have nothing short of a wonderful experience
-As stated we were available and in good contact with you at check-in and wish you had reached out with your concerns as you would have found us to be very responsive to each issue mentioned
-While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we're sorry the mattress and furniture didn't meet your preferences
-We take pride in offering a fully stocked kitchen. We have a full set of pots and pans, a full set of dishes, a stove and microwave less than a year old, a waffle maker, a coffee pot, and grinder, a tea kettle, and a fully stocked cupboard of spices and cooking ingredients for our guests to use
-We indeed had to ask the very awkward question about our missing Nintendo, but it was done in the nicest way we could think of. We did not accuse your kids of stealing it, we asked if it was possible they accidentally took it. When we discovered the previous guests were the responsible party we let you know immediately and apologized for having to ask in the first place. We were as respectful and polite as possible given the circumstance
-We use local, professional photographers to make sure the listing photos correctly reflect the property. Our listing clearly shows the full living room and windows as they currently are and we have never received any complaints about this in the past as the windows overlook the thick forest
-Because we asked the misplaced question about the Nintendo, and because you had to leave early, we did offer a discount on a future stay, however, we have yet to hear back
Nothing disappoints us more than someone who has anything less than a five-star stay and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!
My daughter and I spent several days enjoying the mountains. The cabin was cute and charming!Owners were great. Christmas lights in decks and Vintage records to play on record player and if you have teens , the basement has a great space with games, beds, tv and privacy from upstairs. Property is steep for young kids so just be aware:-)A good stay.

The cabin was as described. Rustic but comfortable and well equipped. The inside and outside sitting areas where very cozy and comfortable. The town and surrounding parks are very dog friendly. Our only struggle was with the plastic mattress cover which made sleeping very noisy and hot. There is a standing air conditioner in the bedroom but very loud so good for cooling off the bedroom but not for sleeping.
