Came here with families and had a wonderful time. The beds were comfy. We had fun in the game room and loved the fireplace and fire pit. Convenient location near downtown. We will absolutely be looking to stay here again!
We came to this house with no expectations but the beds were very comfortable. The place was very spacious and smelled really great. The kitchen and the bathrooms where squeaky clean. My family and kids loved the place especially the large balcony and the game room. We did not have to spend money on parking mainly because this cabin was close to all the attractions with walking distance to the lake, the ski resort, the grocery store, the zoo and golf course. Overall the house was very comfortable and made our vacation very smooth .We definitely are going to book it again when we go back to Big Bear Lake. This is a Gem of a house. My family really did enjoy the stay and vacation.
It is close to every resources that we need in walking distance to the store and to the ski resort we didn't have to Pay for parking
The location is awesome, considering we were up there to snowboard at Big Bear Mountain. Otherwise, the house was overall unsatisfactory. There is some water issue inside the house in the kitchen area, resulting in soaked floor in front of the refrigerator and a flooded dishwasher which we couldn’t use. The water leak resulted in the game room ceiling being soaked, which caused multiple tiles to fall, one which struck my son while playing air hockey. The shower in the master bedroom en suite did not work. The main floor of the house felt super squeaky additionally because of the water/leak issue. The fridge feels like it’ll fall right through the floor. We kept getting wet socks because of the soaked carpet in the kitchen/dining area. We made the location work, but the house feels unsafe. Random outlets didn’t work in addition to the dishwasher, and master shower being unable to use. The prior tenants also didn’t empty their trash at the trash site and left it all in the garage. I will be requesting some sort of compensation through vrbo, because the house rental was really expensive considering all the issues we had to work around.

Hi Richard, we want to make vacation rental easy for everyone, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We apologize for the issue with the dishwasher. It has since been replaced, and the floor has also been replaced.
- We have also replaced the cleaning crew to ensure the home is clean every time.
- We replaced the showerhead with a simpler one.
Thanks again for letting us know about your visit.
First, The house looks like paint and tile work by a kindergartener. Drips of paint on the carpet and grout smeared over tiles. Second, the power went out 7-10 times the first night. The owner made us go out in the snow to reset the electrical each time. We ate dinner in the dark and had no heater for hours. Electrition did come later that night and fixed the problem. This made the first night like a scene from a horror movie. The management company was very good at taking our calls and tried to handle the situation. The ladder to the A-frame room above blocks the hallway so you have to close the people in or you can not get to the bedrooms or bathrooms from the living room and kitchen. The location is easy to get to. The showers are in bad shape. The beds were actually comfortable. The TV was not working half the time and we missed the end of the football game. Overall this place needs a major remodel by a contractor and designer and it has lot's of potential. We made the best of the stay, however we would not stay here again.
