  We had such a wonderful time at this vacation rental! The house was located right on the lake, and we had a private dock with a pedal boat and a hot tub. The house was clean and well-maintained, and it had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the living room was spacious. We loved being able to relax on the deck and watch the sunset over the lake. We also enjoyed taking the pedal boat out for a ride and soaking in the hot tub after a long day of exploring. We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

• Excellent Stay

  This is a great location with nice jacuzzi on the waterfront. Clubhouse is very nice with plenty to do, nice gym. Great check-in and any questions were answered promptly. Very nice!

• Great place in a great location

  Easy and flexible check-in. Enjoyed cocktails and conversation on the deck over-looking the lake. Everything just as described on the listing. We would stay there again.

• Beautiful Lakefront Home

  We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakefront home! Conveniently located in close proximity in Tempe. The hot tub on the lake was great! Spacious and pretty home.

• Small things and one big thing

  I would have liked to rate the property higher because it was quiet and had a great back deck. Unfortunately, the master bed and bath need a complete remodel along with some other issues that made the rating lower than it could be.The master bath is very old fashioned and the shower was difficult at best. The knob to turn on the water was very finicky and we defaulted to the second bathroom for fear the shower would break inconveniencing us during our stay. The soap dish in the master bath was rusty which was off putting as well as the only place to put supplies being a stand inside the shower. The second bath was much better but could use some tlc in that shower also. The master bed made a crinklling sound that kept us awake at night and the lack of black out curtains there woke us early in the morning. Most of the furniture in the living area was very comfortable but the throw rugs were worn and thin. The curtains in the living area were very cheap looking and hung funny on the sliding door. The kitchen furniture was pretty but not very comfortable. The refrigerator door's water dispenser didn't work very well for ice and the glass holder has some stain on it probably due to the water. It would have been nice to have the remotes for the TV in the master bedroom labeled as to which one would make the TV work I did figure it out about 3 days in but we like to watch TV at night to catch up on the news. The front door was difficult to deal with even though there was a keyless lock. Getting it in the exact spot to get the door to lock and unlock was very frustrating. A very nice touch was the notebook full of brochures and maps for things to do and see and helped us tremendously in our planning for outings.Having stayed in some properties that are 5's we tried to compare the small things that were done in those so we could rate this property fairly. The "welcome" basket here had two bottles of water and two packs of cards. The dishwasher detergent was old and consisted of two pods. The washer detergent was adequate and the washer worked well but was very noisy as was the water heater. Alecia did make sure we had a nice little table to hand out Halloween candy as well as a table cloth and a small decoration. Overall, there were so many little things that could have been done to make this a five star property that I felt I could not rate it above a 3.

  - We were surprised to hear your feedback as we were unaware of any issues or concerns during your stay. We wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay, we would have promptly responded and addressed any concerns or issues you may have had immediately.
  - We use professional photographers so we can be sure that our images accurately reflect our property, and guests can decide before booking if the home and decor meet their expectations. Upgrades and updates have been made to the home, and we have spent more than $250,000 to restore and upgrade the rear deck, front courtyard, and outside front street area along with the interior furnishings, full bath remodel was completed in 2019, and the kitchen was remodeled in the summer of this year. We have additional plans to remodel the master bathroom in the near future as funds permit. New photos are pending to update our listing in January, but we're sorry if these changes caught you off guard. The "throw rug" that you said was "worn and thin" is an expensive antique TURKISH rug, but we're sorry if it was not to your liking. We have done our best to create a home that is welcoming and a place for our guests to relax and enjoy.
  - We take our guest feedback seriously and have since replaced the door knob, fixed the curtain rod, and made repairs to the shower faucet in addition to doing further upgrades and updates. The crinkling noise you referenced is the mattress protector, but because of your feedback, we are looking into replacing the mattress protectors for all three of the beds in the home.
