  Though this property has stunning views and will be a comfortable, lovely stay when the weather cools down, it is just not habitable in the summer heat. It was absolutely miserable until on our 3 day clouds rolled in for a storm that cooled down even the inside. The owner also went through the trouble of providing some nice floor fans by dinnertime on the 2nd night. Though the listing does not have an A/C listed, since I’m not from the area, I was under the impression it stayed cool enough inside due to overnight lower temps. That is not the case. I’m bummed I paid so much and I was very embarrassed because I invited friends to get out of the Phx heat and there just was no reprieve from about 9a until 6p..I’m sure It will be fabulous when A/C is installed.

  Hi Jill, this homeowner works hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and we're disappointed that an external factor impacted your visit. While the owner tries their best to provide a great environment for guests, the weather is simply out of their control, but we're sorry it made your stay less enjoyable. Since A/C isn’t available at this property, we don’t market it as an amenity in the listing. Additionally, the owner provided fans and made every effort to provide a comfortable stay for your group. They will be installing mini split AC/heat units soon to provide more comfort for their guests. The owner goes above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have an excellent experience!

  Our weekend stay at the cabin was so peaceful, and relaxing. Our whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, and venturing out around the town. Probably our favorite thing to do was sitting on the patio at night and watching the millions of stars in the sky and enjoying the peace and quit, and spending quality time together. we even got to see a few deer pulling in to the drive way Saturday. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us, everything was absolutely perfect from the decor, to the cute little touches like the coffee bar, and soft blankets to curl up with. You really thought of everything! Thank you again!! Its exactly what my family needed, we will definitely be back to stay again!!
