  Overall, it was a very nice property. However, if you have an issue and need to reach the owner, you will be out of luck, so just deal with it. HORRIBLE owner!Upon arrival, we found a dirty glass in the kitchen sink and had to clean dried-up toothpaste spittle on the bathroom mirror from previous renters. The owner has Visio TV, so no local channels or news and no network shows. Nights got to 57/56 degrees in the property, no heater controls for a renter to access, so it is the owner freezing out the renters. So, we were getting sick from sleeping in a cold room.We tried contacting the owner (Darla), number disconnected. Contacted her husband (Mike), who has advertisements for his business, two voicemails, and no callback. Contacted evolve, and they could not reach the owner for over a week. The owners have NO RESPECT for the people staying here. evolve, the property management company, was good, though. But still, look elsewhere.

  Hi Marla, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We strive to make sure that our guests have an exceptional stay with us and uphold high standards of hospitality. We are sorry to hear that you did not have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide our guests.
  - We aim for transparency and the thermostat was on the wall at eye level between the kitchen and the living room. We have never received any complaint in 12 years about the location of the thermostat as it is in plain sight. There were multiple violent storms right before and during your stay, resulting in power outages, which likely affected the thermostat. We have always set it at 68+ degrees and we can confirm that the furnace and thermostat both worked, if you had reset the thermostat.
  - The glass on the counter was only used to water the plants. The person who waters may have been unaware that guests were arriving, otherwise it would have been cleaned and put away.
  - We value the condition of the home and have received many glowing reviews that share the cleanliness of the cottage. The cleaners take pride in making sure that the home is cleaned upon your arrival and follow normal protocol before check-in. If the patio was messy, it may have been due to the ongoing violent storms throughout the week. It is standard practice that the patio is swept and neat on the day of arrival.
  - We had arranged for an alternate Guest Contact that was recommended by Evolve and double-checked with that company upon our departure. As instructed, we notified the alternate contact of our schedule and multiple contact means.
  - Communication is highly important to us and we do our best to maintain consistent availability. Immediately before our departure, we experienced issues with the contact info on my phone. We're sorry as we were unaware of the upcoming reservation and had to depend on others to ensure everything was under control.
  - We sincerely apologize for any smudge or two on the bathroom mirror and will share this feedback with the cleaners.
  - Prescott has no local stations and everyone has cable television. For guest use, we provide firestick that allows access to anything offered by cable television.
  We will continue to receive 5-star reviews on our property as we work hard to give our guests a positive experience. We truly go above and beyond and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
