  • Peace in the Pines!

    What a beautiful location to spend our 50th Anniversary. It was so nice to escape the heat of the Tucson area and enjoy the cooler temperatures in Pinetop. It reminded us so much of Northern Michigan where we use to vacation in the summers before we moved to Arizona. The cabin, with an upstairs, was large enough to sleep many, but with just the two of us, we were comfortable on the first floor. I enjoyed having my coffee each morning on the front porch swing. We took walks on a few of the many trails. If hiking is your thing, you won?t be disappointed here. The owner was very responsive and great to work with. We look forward to coming back to this cabin!

  • Nice cabin. Bad cleaning crew

    This is a good cabin rental, but the place was not clean. There was urine on the bathroom toilet and crumbs on the living room floor. Lots of dust. Don't look under the beds...The air conditioner didn't work either. It has the same thermostat I have, so I know I was turning the AC on correctly, but it wouldn't turn on. This is okay for downstairs, but upstairs gets hot... There are lots of fun games and the location is great.

    "We appreciate that enjoyed our cabin and its amazing location. Because you felt that the cleaning crew didn't perform well enough, we partially refunded the cleaning deposit as we want our guests to feel that they have received a good value. Housekeeping was made aware of the issue so that they can ensure it does not recur for our future travelers. In terms of the air conditioning, we do not have air-conditioning which is clearly stated on the listing, so all guests are aware prior to booking. There are ceiling fans which the majority of the time are sufficient."

    We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a beautiful area, peaceful and relaxing! We enjoyed the tall pines and porch area. We also really enjoyed the fireplace and the offering of netflix, prime video, and other channels. It was clean and nicely stocked with needed items. Great getaway and the owners are friendly and accommodating!
