Good location...house had some issues
4/5 The house was in a good location. But there were several issues that were addressed by the property manager in a timely manner. The first being that the house does not include the washer/dryer in your rental. We have never rented a house before that doesn't include laundry and we had our elderly parents there and needed the use of laundry. The kitchen, upon arrival, only had 1 towel available for use in the kitchen, which is a problem if you are cooking and cleaning. I contacted the property manager, and he was prompt with his reply and delivered towels and a key to the washing machine and dryer, which drastically helped the situation.
The biggest issue was the sewage issue...the toilet and shower in the master stopped draining while my elderly mom was showering and when she got out, there was feces floating in the shower. We contacted the property manager and he immediately sent out a plumber to fix the problem- THANK GOODNESS! After the plumber left, our thermostat stopped working. Have no clue if they were related but I didn't want to bother the property manager again...it wasn't that big of an issue.
As for the 2 guest bedrooms, the pillows are extremely uncomfortable but everything else in the house was great.
I have never written a negative review and I have never had to reach out to property management before so that part was disappointing, however, the property manager was prompt and took care of everything. Other than the inconveniences and the unsanitary issue of the backed-up plumbing, it was a great stay! Had they not attended to the issues, this would have received a 1 star as it would have been major issues had they not been fixed immediately, so thank you to the property manager for doing such a great job.
Lovely place & great location
4/5 Overall place was wonderful. It was well equipped with all the basics needed . There was a problem with the heat on the first day, but it was addressed quickly. We eould rent this place again.
