This was our second visit to this Pinetop-Lakeside home. We were very comfortable in this well-kept house. It has a beautiful view of the pond, pine trees, and Rainbow Lake. It was nice to watch the wildlife and to fish off the dock at Rainbow Lake. We can't wait to stay at this rental again!
No need to bring anything except your clothes, then a quick grocery stop for milk & eggs.
The home is equipped with all the necessary essentials but also boasts a large selection of kitchen appliances and a pantry to make any foodie happy.
We thank you RuthAnn for providing a beautiful, comfortable home. The location offered a variety of options to enjoy the area; hiking, boating, fishing are all closeby. How amazing it was to see the outside world brought inside looking through the picture window from the dining area. Ducks and Geese, some mysterious creature that swam just under the surface. In addition, we got to enjoy a goose that found the outdoor porch railing to be a fantastic location to announce his presence! It’s going to be fun taking the time to comb through all the photos taken of our time there.
Looking forward to our return in September.
From the owner: "Oh Candace! You folks captured the very essence of your experience to perfection! No one has said it better in four years of renting out our cabin! Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We love the geese, ducks, cormorants, osprey, eagles, and more. And Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster, is either the beaver on the pond or one of the very large white carp used for keeping down Milfoil, an invasive aquatic weed. My vote is on Nessie!! See you in September! Thank you, again, for your review and your business!"
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! It was quiet and private. Great big windows in the dining room to watch the wildlife on the pond. Close to everything! Our best stay in Pinetop!
The cabin had everything, and more! The pantry was fully stocked, which was nice to make meals at the cabin. Our kids, 3 and 5, had fun playing with the outdoor games on the bottom patio, as well as the large selection of board games and video games. It was also nice to be able to park inside the garage, because it snowed almost the whole time we were there. I bet this place is beautiful in the spring! Sitting on the patio and watching the ducks from the lake was a nice past time activity as well. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

From the Owner: "Hi! Thank you so much for your kind review. We are so happy you enjoyed our cabin! The ducks and geese know when we have visitors, they love bread So much snow this winter. We are grateful for it. It will be a beautiful spring and summer here! Thank you, and please come again!"
Nice place. Cost us about the same in fees as it did to stay. We had family stay actually in the lake in another property which was bigger and better location for less overall money. I’d recommend using Vrbo as a last resort. We paid $175 for cleaning… lol$63 for insurance? We didn’t even opt for it. $100 Vrbo fee. Lol Pretty much a rip off. Good comms from the folks who have the property, but def not worth the extra fees. Lol

Hi Adam, thank you for staying at our home in October. People can avoid some of the fees by booking directly through Evolve. Unfortunately, cleaning fees are part of the cost of staying in most homes through any online platform for short term rentals. All taxes and fees are clearly outlined by VRBO at check-out before guests need to confirm payment, and I feel badly that we received a 3 star review because of something you were aware of prior to making your reservation. We were also kind enough to accommodate your very late check-out to early evening giving you an entire day at no additional cost to you.
We take pride in our home, its maintenance, upkeep, cleanliness, and overall guest experience. We offer many amenities, and some are even touted as nice surprises by guests when they arrive. Thank you for your positive comment for our home and our communication abilities.
