5/5 The home was supplied with everything we needed. The host provided personal items for our convenience. We especially enjoyed the large comfortable deck. We enjoyed our stay.
Do not expect any flexibility in the contract and be sure to read the fine print
1/5 I Made a 5 day reservation several months in advance. I failed to confirm / cancel within contract parameters as listed in the fine print . I had honestly not read a follow up e mail which I had thought was trash ,as it was not under the VRBO address where I made the reservation . I was also quite distracted by losing my Home in Hurricane Ian and in the process of moving . I was unable to keep the reservation. I contacted the owner immediately when I realized my oversight two days prior to check in.
I was refused a price reduction or reduction of any portion of the late cancel penalty of 100%
Given the prime location of the property I am reasonably sure it could still possibly have been rented to another party.
No effort was given to any type of adjustment or even an offer for future credit.
Seemed particularly unfair to still charge cleaning fees .
Great getaway with privacy
5/5 On arrival the rental had not been cleaned from previous tenants, but Michael responded quickly and made sure to get someone there in a fairly timely manner considering our later arrival. After that everything was great. We even accidentally locked our keys in the car at the private beach area and he responded quickly of having a spare key for us. Which we greatly appreciated!! Overall experience was great and can't wait to come back to Havasu!!
