Great Place
5/5 We had a great time. The home was a good fit for our needs. Lots of room with all of the kitchen amenities we needed for our meals. We found a boat launch area not far from the house where we could run our remote controlled boats with our grandson. There was an issue that was quickly addressed by the owner which resulted in no inconvenience to us.
Good property, a few points for improvement.
4/5 This was a great place for a group of six adult cousins and two kiddos to get together. The house is well equipped and every appliance we needed was at our fingertips. Checking in and out was clear and the host was communicative. The fire pit, grill (gas grill - the egg grill is no longer there), and outdoor area was great. A few FYIs - this listing is near a lake, not on a lake. The last photo says this is the view from the house - that is not the case. The dock is a few houses down and across the street. Not a huge deal, but it was a surprise. Also, there were several wasps around the property. I realize this isn't something the host can control, but it's something to keep in mind. They did provide wasp spray and we killed seven in our two day stay. The playground is pretty run down and parking is awkward if you have low riding cars. This home was a great hub for activities around Rogers - Hobbes and War Eagle Cavern are both very close, along with several stores and restaurants.
