  ray our host was awesome he was very knoledgable about the area and a pleasure to get to know the house was very comfy we had six of us and enjoyed all the beauty of the area plenty of room to enjoy the home and patio i plan on staying again

  We arrived in the early evening, which was a good thing, because it was still light outside, otherwise the street would’ve been difficult to locate from the highway. The city or the neighborhood need to put a light at the entrance. The rooms were nicely furnished and everything was well appointed for our stay. Our guests were pleasantly surprised to find they had ‘2 bedrooms’ to choose from. We all felt the beds were much more comfortable than those in most rentals, and that made for a good night’s sleep for all of the activities we had planned for each day. After unpacking, the first day, We went into town and bought groceries for our stay. When we returned to the house, I was storing the items in the fridge but found it to be somewhat dirty inside, so I proceeded to clean it myself. Upon closer inspection of some of the rooms, including our bathroom, I was disappointed to find the cleanliness was less than ideal. Also, my adult son noticed ‘something’ sticking out of the compartment in the theater seating in the living room, and went to grab it, so he could put his glass down, only to find it was a ‘used bandaid’!We did enjoy the backyard, which backs up to a tributary. One night we roasted marshmallows in the fire pit and made s’mores. There’s lots to do in town, and we made the most of our short Thanksgiving holiday there. I would not, however, recommend the ‘Maxwell Blade Magic Show’ unless you just want a casual night out, and go in expecting an amateur performance. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the area to everyone.

  Was very nice house, we enjoyed it, well equipped but was not really a lake and was dirty water, but house was excellent 👌

  My stay here was perfect!!! It was my husband and I,our 2 daughters and our lab retriever dog. There was plenty of room for all of us to do what we needed.

  The owners are great. They live in an RV right next door, so if you need anything, they are right there. They are really friendly and hospitable.

  The only down side was nobody's fault. I just want to send out a PSA that the place is really humid due to being right next to the river so you need to keep the house really cold, like 72-68. So if/when you come, just bring some warm close to snuggle in when your lounging around the house. They have ample blankets as well if you need it.

  I went fishing off the bank and all I saw was turtles and minnows. We caught 1 thing, but it bit through the line and got away, and I fished pretty much everyday. So don't really expect fresh caught dinners.

  My whole say was a 10/10 and would love to go back and visit again.
