  We wanted to get away for along weekend for our 7yr daughter's fall break, and this spot was perfect. We brought one of her friends along and the kids loved it! They were able to swim right off the dock, ride their bikes around and we had a fire for marshmallows.The host was super accommodating and helpful. The company that manages the property, however, not helpful at all. There was a small confusion at the beginning of our trip and I reached out to Evolve and got automated messages that someone would get back to me, and no one did. Im going to think twice in getting a property from Evolve in the future. We loved Candie, however. Once we were able to get a hold of her everything was resolved.

• Great Location, few minor issues.

  The location is very nice, it's about 20 minutes from any of the attractions in Hot Springs! The entry door is in the bedroom, the bed frame stuck out into the passage way between the entry door and the hall way leading to the rest of the house about 8" past the mattress. Someone knew this was a problem as both rails of the bed frame were covered in duck tape. FYI, this didn't make it any better when you ran into it with your chin, just kept if from cutting you. Tub was slow to drain. Air conditioner couldn't keep up, in the heat of the day, it was between 78-80 degrees. Freezer leaked all over the kitchen floor and fridge didn't regulate temperature well, kept freezing the milk even after turning it down (older fridge). The bathroom door is so hard to open and close if your little tike doesn't have enough body weight they can't get it fully closed or get it back open. There was a pretzel in one of the window seals and ants in the kitchen, someone already knew about the ants because there was a can of spray under the sink. The dock mentioned in the ad is in need of repair, there is one board broken off and several others that are weak/loose. Space mentioned to park your boat would be limited to a flat bottom, in my opinion, water gets pretty shallow close to the dock.

  This is a great home to spend a weekend at. No internet, water in shower not hot , only warm and no TV in the bedroom. Great weekend stay.

• Hot Springs Getaway

  Beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood. The home was very clean and comfortable. It's very close to shopping and restaurants. The deck out back is perfect to sit out and enjoy the beautiful view. Tip for future renters: There is hot water in the bathroom....the hot/cold water knobs are just backwards on the sink and in the shower. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it for others as well.
