You'll love the view of the bluff across the river and seeing bald eagles fly through the property frequently.
The fly fishing in this part of the river is prolific, so come prepared! If you're not an expert, just hire a fishing guide to show you the ropes! Throw the trout you caught onto the grill for dinner to celebrate a successful day.
You can also bring a fishing boat to reel in your catch of the day instead. Park the boat in the driveway when you're not using it! If you don't own a boat, never fear - you'll be surrounded by countless boat, canoe, and kayak rental services. The boat launch area is just 2 minutes from the property.
The Bull Shoals Lake area is about a 30-minute drive away, where you can pursue even more fun water activities. If you want to spend a day out of the sun, drive a little over 10 miles to the city of Mountain Home offering delicious restaurants, movie theaters, shops, and antique stores.

GRACIOUS HOST
5/5 Saw Bald Eagle take 14" trout. Saw Great Blue Heron swallow an 8" trout. { I caught several too.} Pileated Woodpeckers, Grosbeaks, Baltimore Orioles, Kingfishers, Indigo Buntings, Red-headed Woodpeckers, i.e. bird watcher's paradise. Access to Wildcat Shoals steps away. Get the picture yet? I went there to get away and fly fish - could not be happier! Cottage amenities best we ever had - anywhere. My bride of sixty-one years wants to go back. Enough Said? THANK YOU ANDREA!
