• Nice but not the cleanest

  Loved the heated garage and the ability to use it unlike many other VRBO properties. Kitchen was not fully stocked / set up as far as equipment. There was nothing to use for flipping bacon. The dishwasher did not work well - had to run it at least twice and even then it was no effective. There were no baking sheets or baking pans what so ever! Glad we did not get any cookie dough to make cookies. And, I was cleaning the side of the fridge and back of the stove splatters before I even cooked anything. Etc.). When stripping down the sheets (which by the way - when you pay a cleaning fee, we should not have to do) - we found body (for lack of a better word) hair at the foot of he bed on my side of the master bed - I'm barely 5' tall and I do NOT reach the bottom of the bed. Only conclusion - the sheets were not changed from the last people. My daughter found a stain on her bed that she said was gross - I did not have time to take a look). Owner did apologize but it did no get the creepy feel out of my system - we stayed there a week!Bathroom rugs looked old and grungy and the towels were super small. Master closet was nice and roomy with shelves but also cluttered with random things that families with kids may need/use.Rug at the top of the stairs had a corner that was curled up and we kept tripping over it.Almost forgot - went to do a laundry and not only did you have to step into the room and shut the door to use, but there was a small strip of wood with a couple of nails sticking up that I ALMOST stepped on - glad I spotted it.Overall, it was fine but it could have been a better stay and had it not been for the dirty sheets I would have rated it higher.

  Minal, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: "Thank you for letting us know about your stay, Minal. Guest experience is very important to us and we would like to address a couple of things in your review.
  -The kitchen is stocked with the items under the amenities section of the listing's website. We take inventory quarterly and if an item is missing it is replaced. During our January one, baking sheets were stocked at that time. Had we known they were missing during your stay, we would have happily provided them. You might have missed them, but we also provide spatulas for flipping purposes.
  -Cleanliness is one of our highest priorities and one of the things our guests regularly mention about our home is how clean it is. We were surprised to read your feedback since we have recently completed a remodel where each appliance and area was inspected and cleaned from top to bottom. Additionally, the sheets are thoroughly cleaned and inspected after every stay. We understand slip-ups happen and if there ever is something we happen to overlook, we encourage our guests to let us know as soon as possible so we can rectify this.
  -The checkout instructions are standard for the vacation rental industry and support keeping the overall cleaning fees as low as possible for your stay.
  -The rug is meant to be in the little hallway going toward the master bedroom, but it can sometimes move. The last thing we want is for our guests to trip over it, and if is moved out of place, guests are welcome to place it in a location where it does not become a hazard.
  While we regret that your stay did not meet your expectations, we truly go above and beyond for our guests and we're confident that future guests will have excellent stays."

  It was everything we needed. The place was so clean and easy to get to. Could not ask for anything more. The only issue was we didn’t read the book when we got there and didn’t know we should have took garbage to road on Friday.

  Traveling on vacation and the house had everything we needed! Very clean and comfortable, would stay there again if we get back to the area.
